What To Expect At PBC

We know that visiting a new church can be a nervous and intimidating experience. We want to take the stress out of visiting Providence and let you know that we are a “come as you are” church. If you want to wear jeans, wear jeans. If you want to wear a suit, wear a suit. We want our guests to feel like they are important to us so we try to treat you like a guest in our home. Here are some things you should expect when you come.

Engaging Worship

Our worship style is truly blended. The Lord knows that everyone has different taste when it comes to music styles. We try to offer something that all people can enjoy, whether you like traditional hymns or the latest worship songs, you will find that we do a mix of them all. We strive to present a service that will draw ALL to the feet of our Lord and Savior, so that you can connect to Him in a personal way.

Practical Teaching

We believe that the Bible teaches life change. If all we do is fill our heads with a bunch of knowledge but we never change our actions, we haven’t learned anything. When you come, don’t expect a message that will take a scholar to understand. If you are expecting a bunch of Greek and Hebrew words and phrases that make no sense, sorry, but you won’t find that here. Expect a message that will be Bible based, simple and full of application.

Many people say that one big reason they don’t go to church is because all the church wants is my money. Know that we don’t expect you to give any money to us. We believe tithing is for our members to support the ministry of the church, not to get our guests money.
